Since exams ended yesterday, I've been packing my schedule full of activities almost forgetting that I still have JLPT4 on the 6th of December. I'm going to make some effort to study tomorrow and sunday maybe. The paper yesterday was okay, I guess, seeing that we could almost forsee what he would set for us. The day before, Keith, Jerry, Samuel, Sien, Xinhui and I had a not very fruitful but an interesting touch-and-go discussion in preparation for the paper. Post-paper saw Ed, Samuel, Keith, Xinhui, Sien and I heading to Clementi pizza!!:D

It was because of that I was almost 15mins late to meet Qibin for dinner which we ate calmly despite knowing that we were to meet Mr Toh to collect the tickets for the choir concert:/ Everything worked out in the end, except for the fact that Jez came in after the first song was over. And it was the first time I met Qimin since she returned from Aussie(:

And because it is a public holiday today, my fantastic family attempted to wake up early to cycle but ended up going to east coast park to eat duck rice and have sugarcane. Nevertheless, we managed to entertain ourselves with a bit of camwhoring.

Because I am so completely unmotivated to study for CLS, and because there's no "GEORGE KUAH ENERGY DRINK" out in the market, I've resorted to LJ in a bid to clear my head of evil intentions this long weekend.

Basically, I'm gonna list down everything I want and perhaps secretly need. But I wouldn't know that because I'm afraid to find out what I need - knowing of the lack of it just highlights well, the lack and I hate to be needy.

1. I want to watch shitloads of movies.
I don't care if they are good or bad (preferably good though) - I want to feel a flurry of emotions - because I've been dearth of them since Week 13. I want to catch: An Education, The Informant! , The Fantastic Mr Fox , A Christmas carol(only because it's 'A Christmas Carol') and a whole bunch of movies I didn't get to catch in the cinema.

2. I want to go roam about aimlessly.
I want to disregard time, have fun without work lulling sickeningly at the back of my head. While I'm at it, I might as well go SHOP TIL THE COWS COME HOME. psst. The caps are to remind the world at large how long I haven't breathed sweet ol' consumerism and consumption - yeah, I'm shallow like that.

3. I want to read nothing law related.
The first time you read about such stuff, your head is blown away and you go WOAH, SO THIS IS HOW THE WORLD WORKS?!
Ok, so I'm lying, it's not always interesting. In fact, a large component of it is dry and archaic and in serious need of a mega reform - but I'm lazy, so I shall leave that to you revolutionaries out there to do the good work. :)
I want to look at pretty magazines,full of pretty things and people whom I'm no where close to, I want to disappear into fiction and get delusional for abit cos' I think I've been too hung up on reality for too long. Why is that a necessary evil? Because your vision is dulled. Ironically, in seeing things as they are, the lights dim, the colours fade. Not pretty.
I want BOOMZ BOOMZ BRIGHT LIGHTS AND RANDOM SPLASHES OF COLOUR! :D
And when I get my fair share of happy never afters, I will go back to trying to understand the world for what it is, with more serious books no less. :)

4. I want a solid heart to heart conversation.
I don't like to spell things out, be it in the positive, or the negative. In saying you want something, a necessary inference is that you haven't been getting it. And if you were to refer to the above, again, I hate to be needy.

Generally, I work like this -->
If something is bothering me, I will not tell a soul. Heck, I don't even talk to God about my problems and honestly, this is fine with me.
I'd probably brood over it and occasionally emo over it. But you can trust me when I say, I'd get it solved and settled.
Then what I have a tendency to do, is to talk to you, my beloved friends about the said problem. It usually comes across as an issue which I need your opinion over. But really, I've solved it. I'm just one of those annoying Singaporeans who are never satisfied until they get a free professional second opinion elsewhere(HELLO LEGAL CLINICS). And as such I turn to you, my esteemed friends, all of whom I immensely love and treasure, for a second opinion to confirm what I already know. Out of mere social conventions and graces, I will not go "AHA! I KNEW IT!" in your face, because I know that you've genuinely tried to help me solve my problem and I really am grateful to you for that. :)

BUT(Isn't there always a butt?).
I've been feeling rather detached from the world. You know that blue thing in Watchmen? Yeah, I'm like Ms Blue.
In fact, I think I've been feeling that way for a really long time. Just kind of lost track of at which point in time I became this way. It's gotten to a point whereby I have to listen to songs that tell me that I'm not alone -heard of MJ's 'You are not Alone'? I live because of it. Kinda retarded actually, having a blatant reliance on a song sung by a dead dude.

Honestly, sometimes I think that there is something fundamentally wrong with me.
But I refuse to pinpoint(refusal means I can but I don't want to, in case you were wondering) exactly what that problem is, because survival is alot easier being the way I am now.

Ah well.

Just a final note, because you've probably wasted part of life reading this entire wall of frivolity, here's a gentle reminder -
