This saturday was made slightly more eventful than usual. It was all for Miss Carlene Tan Lixuan.

9pm.
Derrick had a little adventure driving over to Havelock Road to pick me up from my grans because of some misguided directions. Then it was another little journey to clarke quay to meet Meiqian because we had only the street directory to rely on to know where we were going. Meiqian was super efficient in getting a present for Lixuan, an hour after I called (because Grace was earlier left with the responsibility of getting a present and suddenly ps-ed ). Made a few rounds about The Central because we weren't allowed to stop the car in front of the mall to wait.

Then, we had no idea how to get to Bedok to pick Wilson up from there. It took us awhile, following an on-going traffic jam in a "general directing" towards the east. Somehow, we made it to Bedok because Wilson called on the way and gave us directions.

Then. it we travelled to Changi Chalet just in time to sing Lixuan the birthday song, take pictures and watch her cut her 21st birthday cake! Met Hao Xiang (from my jap class in sem 1) there too!

12pm
We couldn't decide where to go for supper. Wilson wanted to head to Siglap and we were on the way when we realised we were 8 mins from Changi Airport, POPEYES - MASH POTATO! So we detoured there instead! But to our disappointment, the mash potato was sold out. Had supper there all the same.

1pm
Finally decided to head home. From Changi Airport  -> Bedok -> Toa Payoh -> (and for Derrick) Ang Mo Kio.

Anyway, hello there Derrick! I'm sure you had a few awesome hours in the car!
